    Please DO NOT email enquiries about my interest in a project, I accept submissions when my books open. I cannot guarantee if I will take on a project prior to my books opening.

  • No, I receive way more projects than I typically have appointments and choose projects that I feel best suit my style, ability and pique my interest.

    My availability depends on how many ongoing projects/current clients I have. I will have a general idea of how many custom clients I can take on as we near the opening date.

    Please, please, please do not take it personally if I do not accept your request. My schedule fills up very fast and I cannot accommodate all requests, it may take a few a tries before your submission is accepted.

  • Coverups are accepted on a case by case basis. I am more likely to accept coverups on established clients. Due to the volume of requests I receive I may only accept 1-2 coverups per booking period. *Very small or faded tattoos are an exception.

    Generally, coverups need to be 2-3x the original size of the piece you are looking to cover and I almost always recommend color pieces for coverups. I highly recommend laser removal, you will have more options for what is possible with your coverup!

    At this time I am not taking on reworks.

  • My booking form covers most of the information I need to book an appointment. If I need extra info I prefer to do email consultations for most projects. However, sometimes I will request an in-person consult for larger projects, coverups or ideas needing more clarification.

  • If you have been following my work for some time now you are probably aware of the “Steve” Tattoo. If you are new to my page here is a little background.

    The “Steve” is a non-binary ghost tattoo that is custom drawn on to your liking. Want a viking Steve? Sure! Want Steve walking a dog? Why not! Steve was the first tattoo made at Love Struck Tattoo and has found their way into all of our hearts.

    I want a Steve! How do I get one?

    Well, the easiest way to get a Steve if you already have an appointment is to add it onto your appointment. Simply, let me know when you come in for an appointment if you would like to add on a Steve.

    Steve will return for a flash day in October!

  • All drawings will be available for viewing on the day of your appointment. I do not preview custom designs before your appointment. If you need to make changes to your original design it can be done so at your appointment time.

    **If you do not notify me of large design change requests prior to your appointment your appointment may need to be scheduled for a later date.

  • I guarantee my work and offer free touch up’s within six months of your original appointment.

    Please note that touch ups are not guaranteed if you do not follow proper aftercare protocols. Touch ups do not include additions/changes to the original design/tattoo.

    Touch up’s can be scheduled at any time regardless of whether or not my books are open or closed. Please email me directly to schedule a touch up at samanthactattoos@gmail.com

  • Yes, but like coverup work this is a case by case basis. Scars must be healed AT LEAST a year depending on severity. Please keep in mind that tattoos may still be raised in the areas of scarring.

  • While most of the time I have no issue doing so, we have the same internet. I recommend searching your city + “tattoo” Instagram to find local artists quickly. For example: #marylandtattooartist

    However, If someone comes to mind for your idea I will most likely refer you. Keep in mind a lot of artists are booked out just as far as I am at this time. Please be patient and kind.

  • Due to the nature of my booking process I no longer offer gift certificates.

  • What is flash?

    Flash is a pre drawn tattoo design that can and will be tattooed multiple times.

    What is a flash day?

    Flash days are usually pop up events that are first come first serve.

Pricing & Policy

Deposit Policy:

A $100 deposit is required to book an appointment.

Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE but come off the cost of your tattoo, if you need multiple appointments your deposit will come off of your final appointment.

If you need to reschedule I require 48 hours advance notice otherwise you forfeit your deposit.

If you cancel and are not sure when you can reschedule your deposit is valid for up to 6 months from the date of your appointment. We will do our best to get you an appointment within this time frame, if you opt to push your appointment out further you will need to leave a new deposit.

If you reschedule more than twice you will need to leave a new deposit.

*Please be aware that if you need to reschedule you may need to wait until the next booking round to receive a new appointment.

If you are a No Call No Show you forfeit your deposit and will not be able to book again.

Appointment Policy:

Confirmation emails are sent out a month prior. Please CONFIRM your appointment!

Plan ahead for parking. Downtown Annapolis is currently undergoing construction and road closures.

If you are my first appointment and arrive 15 minutes late with zero notice you forfeit your deposit and may need to reschedule your appointment. If you think you are going to be late please email, call and leave a voicemail or text (410)703-4028 BEFORE your appointment time to avoid losing your deposit.

Come to your tattoo well rested and hydrated! Eat a full meal before your tattoo and make sure to drink plenty of water. Snacks and drinks are provided at the shop.

Reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell or are currently taking antibiotics. Stop taking antibiotics at least a week prior to your tattoo appointment as antibiotics can severely impact proper healing of a tattoo.

Please reschedule or cancel your appointment if you are pregnant or have recently found out you are pregnant.

Do not come to your appointment under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

All aftercare instructions will be emailed to you prior to your appointment. Aftercare kits are available for purchase. We also supply recovery derm for those interested.

PRICING:

I charge my work using a non-tipping platform. This means I do not accept gratuity. I work very efficiently and quickly so this allows me to price my work fairly.

Please scroll down for pricing examples. Please note that you will be charged for the block of time you are booked for. You may also opt to do multiple pieces in a block of time.

Steve Tattoos and specified pre drawn/flash pieces will be priced by the piece.

Custom Appointment Pricing:

$600 minimum

  • 2 Hour Appointment Time

  • 1.5 or less of tattooing

  • Examples: Full color pieces 4” or smaller, 6”or smaller blackwork pieces. Multiple small pieces that fit into the time block.

Quarter Day $750

  • 3 Hour Appointment Time

  • 2-2.5 hours of tattooing

  • Examples: Full color pieces 7” or smaller, 7-9” blackwork pieces.

Half Day $1000

  • 4.5 hour Appointment

  • 3-3.5 hours of tattooing

  • Examples: Full color pieces 7” to 10”, Blackwork pieces around 10”. More complex design work, large designs that are drawn on, large scale work broken into smaller sessions.

Full Day $1500

  • 6 hour Appointment

  • 4.5 - 5 hours of tattooing ($300 per hour thereafter)

  • Examples: Full color pieces 8” or larger, 12” or larger blackwork pieces, large scale work. Drawn on large scale work.
